New color expands design options for customers in warmer climates.
Renewal by Andersen’s replacement windows are now available with black interior trims and hardware, complementing existing exterior trim options and providing new design options for customers.
Renewal by Andersen uses a proprietary process to fuse its color options directly into its window frames, which are constructed entirely from its Fibrex composite material. The resulting windows carry a 20-year warranty for long-lasting color.
“We wanted to give our customers the style and color options they want and the performance factors they deserve,” says Joe Wegele, senior product manager. “The technology behind this has been rigorously tested, so we had the confidence to extend our dark color offerings to black. It has been tested for durability, and provides the beauty and performance that you’d expect from a quality product.”
Fibrex has also been rigorously tested for durability in high temperatures. This is especially important for darker replacement window colors, according to the manufacturer, as they are harder to find in warmer climates where dark colors trap more heat. Renewal by Andersen notes that the material offers an efficient alternative to aluminum windows, which do not retain their performance in hotter temperatures.
Renewal by Andersen’s windows are available in a total of 49 color combinations, 12 hardware finishes, and numerous grille designs. renewalbyandersen.com
